Fox Island A History by George L. Miller
Great news in book printing at the museum! We have reprinted Fox Island A History by George L. Miller. This book has been out of print for many years and is now, once again available for sale in the museum store.
The book was originally published in 1993 by the Fox Island Historical Society. It is an invaluable resource for Fox Island history with many photos and wonderful stories of life on the island in areas such as boating, agriculture, industries, organizations, schools, and much more.
George L. Miller was married to Lois Miller, a postmaster on the island from 1973-1987. Together in 1974, they donated the building site which became the future home of our museum.
