Sand & Soil Plant Sale

Jeff Feagin Annual Memorial Plant Sale at the Museum
Saturday, May 20 11-2pm 

The Fox Island Sand & Soil Garden Club’s annual Plant Sale is Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. The venue is the Fox Island Historical Museum. This is an outdoor in-person sale, and payment is by cash or check only the day of the sale. Club members offer over 400 quality plants from their own gardens. From Aucuba to Yucca, and many natives, gallon plants start at $5.00. Smaller veggie starts are only $3.00. In addition, members are selling unusual yard art at value prices. This event is popular, so come early!


Vintage Book Sale

Saturday, May 6th & Sunday, May 7th 1-4pm in the Museum Barn

Please join us for our 2 day Vintage Book Sale in the Museum Barn. There will be lots of classics, some rare, some over 100 years old, and lots of children’s books. Bring one book to receive an estimate of the book’s worth.

Attention Students, Families and Friends of 2023 Fox Island High School Graduates

This year there will be two $1000 Dr. George A. Weis Memorial Scholarships. The Fox Island Chapel Preservation Society (Chapel on Echo Bay) has generously donated $1000 to the Fox Island Historical Society Museum for this additional scholarship award. These scholarships will recognize two well-qualified high school seniors graduating in the spring of 2023 to help finance a post-high school education beginning in the fall of 2023.  These seniors must be residents of Fox Island at the time of high school graduation. All rules, deadlines, and applications will be the same for both scholarships.
